Meigs Middle would like to thank our school nurse, Mrs. Angie Hyde, for her patience, her time, and her compassion. The care she gives our students and staff does not go unnoticed! Thank you for the care you give each of us, Nurse Angie!!

Students in Mrs. A's science classes were tasked at calculating speed by taking the distance an object travels divided by the amount of time the object took to travel that distance. During this Zombie speed lab, they went through 4 scenarios which altered their speed including a casual walk in the park, spotting a zombie and running backwards, running for their lives, and then at last becoming a zombie themselves. Students put their math and science skills to test with this lab and managed a few smiles in between.
